Jonas Brothers a fost desemnata Cea mai proasta trupa in cadrul galei Shockwaves NME Awards 2009, ce a avut loc aseara, 25 februarie, la Londra.Formatia alcatuita din fratii Nick, Joe si Kevin Jonas a strans cele mai multe voturi la aceasta categorie.
Ceilalti nominalizati au fost Oasis, Tokio Hotel, Fall Out Boy si Scouting For Girls.
Desigur, faptul ca a fost nominalizata la sectiunea
Cea mai proasta trupa n-a impiedicat formatia Oasis sa castige trofeul Cea mai buna trupa britanica, in cadrul aceleiasi gale.
In afara de trofeul Cea mai proasta trupa, grupul Jonas Brothers a primit si nedorita distinctie Cel mai prost album, pentru A Little Bit Longer.
