Casele productie independente si artistii independenti au primit au detinut mai mult de jumatate dintre nominalizarile la premiile Grammy 2011, anunta publicatia Rolling Stone.
Dintr-un total de aproape 550 de nominalizari, 273 sunt artisti independenti.
Cel mai evident exemplu in acest sens este trupa Arcade Fire, al carei album The Suburbs este nominalizat la Albumul Anului. In plus, Mumford & Sons si Esperanza Spalding sunt tot artisti indie, nominalizati la Best New Artist.
Editia cu numarul 53 a Premiilor Grammy va avea loc pe 11 februarie 2011. Mai jos gasiti o parte dintre categorii si nominalizatii lor.
