Home (ver7) Chords - Daughtry

Intro: G G/C G G/C

Verse 1:
G G/C
I'm staring out into the night
G G/C
 Trying to hide the pain
G G/C
I'm going to the place where love
    Em D G/C
and feeling good don't ever cost a thing
        Em D G/C
and the pain you feel's a different kind of pain

Chorus:
G D
 I'm going home
            G/C D
back to the place where I belong
               Em D G/C
And where your love has always been enough for me
G D
 I'm not running from
      G/C D
no, I think you've got me all wrong
  Em D G/C
I don't regret this life I chose for me
          Em D G/C
But these places and these faces are getting old
(mute) G G/C
So I'm going home
          G G/C
I'm going home

Verse 2:
G G/C
The miles are getting longer it seems
G G/C
The closer I get to you
G G/C
I've not always been the best man or friend for you
                      Em
But your love remains true
    D G/C
And I don't know why
    Em D G/C
You always seem to give me another try

Chorus:
G D
 I'm going home
            G/C D
back to the place where I belong
               Em D G/C
And where your love has always been enough for me
G D
 I'm not running from
      G/C D
no, I think you've got me all wrong
  Em D G/C
I don't regret this life I chose for me
          Em D G/C
But these places and these faces are getting old

Bridge:
D G/C
Be careful what you wish for
                            Em
Cause you just might get it all
      D G/C
You just might get it all
                        D
And then some you don't want
                         G/C
be careful what you wish for
                            Em
Cause you just might get it all
      D G/C
You just might get it all

Em D G/C Em D G/C

Chorus:
G D
 I'm going home
            G/C D
back to the place where I belong
               Em D G/C
And where your love has always been enough for me
G D
 I'm not running from
      G/C D
no, I think you've got me all wrong
  Em D G/C
I don't regret this life I chose for me
          Em D G/C
But these places and these faces are getting old
          Em D G/C
But these places and these faces are getting old
   Em D G/C
So I'm going home
   Em D G/C
I'm going home
G
I'm going home

I tried about 6 different versions found on this site and none of them sounded right, so
took the closest one and tweaked it quite a bit. My ears tell me this is a match for
version on the album, but I'm not an expert. I spelled out every verse/chorus/bridge
the repeated parts are always a bit different each time.
