Pana in momentul de fatza care sunt preferintele voastre in materie de metal?

Din tot ce a aparut pana acum, in mod deosebit mi-au placut putine albume, dupa cum urmeaza:

Dissection - Reinkaos, Sadus - Out for Blood, Gory Blister - Skymorphosis, Sinister - Afterburner si nici Zyklon-ul nu e rau.

Dar cred ca e cam devreme pentru un top pe anul asta. Mai sunt o gramada de albume pe care le astept nerabdatoare.

dupa aproape 5 luni din anul asta, un top + observatii ar fi cam asa:

1. Krisiun - AssassiNation     inchegat, devastator, aproape perfect
2. Summoning - Oath Bound    straniu, tolkienian, atmosferic
3. Bal-Sagoth - The Chthonic Chronicles   complex si extrem de interesant
4. Katakysm - In The Arms Of Devastation  un death curat si bine articulat
5. Witchery - Don’t Fear the Reaper  e in prima auditie trupa asta, insa mi-au placut enorm, mai ales ca instrumentatie
6. Ihsahn - The Adversary   destul de indigest la prima auditie, dupa care mi-am schimbat total parerea; e tot mai interesant cu fiecare auditie
7. Cannibal Corpse - Kill    intrati de curand in atentia mea; da, un album reusit
8. Evergrey - Monday Morning Apocalypse  mi-au trebuit niste zile sa ma obisnuiesc si sa ajung sa zic ca e interesant albumul
9. Sepultura - Dante XXI    daca tot stai si duci dorul lui max, posibil sa nu il agreezi; dupa ce m-am scuturat de numitul doru, am conchis: fara sa rupa gura, un album tehnic si bun

In rest, din ce am mai ascultat, dezamagirea nr. 1 a mea, dublata e drept de o mare asteptare, a fost Queensryche; ca ins ce am progressive-ul in suflet, mai bine ma prefac ca nu am auzit de albumul asta.
Plictisitoare, monotone si care nu mi-au miscat vreun muschi pe fata, de aprobare sau negare, dar nu ma indur sa scap de ele: Satyricon - Now, Diabolical, Venom - Metal Black, Avulsed - Reanimations, Katatonia - The Great Cold Distance, Aeternus - Hexaeon, Darkthrone - The Cult Is Alive, Theatre Of Tragedy - Storm.
In asteptare: Impaled Nazarene - Pro Patria Finlandia, Sodom - Sodom, Lacuna Coil - Karmacode, Novembre - Materia, Veni Domine - 23:59, Green Carnation - Acoustic Verses, Runemagick - Invocation of Magick, Manigance - L'ombre Et La Lumière, Age of Nemesis - Psychogeist, Enslaved - Ruun

revenind la topul de mai sus, am reusit sa ascult si sa digerez Enslaved - Ruun...... fara indoiala, un album excelent, in care ingredientul progressive face toti banii......
m-a surprins placut si Impaled Nazarene cu 'patrioticul' lor album
caut Yyrkoon-ul, btw....

Anata - The Conductor's Departure
mare surpriza acest album, care (pana acum) a intrat sus de tot in topul meu personal al albumelor din 2006; un technical death-metal de mare clasa si cu toate ca am spus in urma albumului Under A Stone With No Inscription din 2004 ca mai complet si complex nu se poate, revin si spun ca ba da, se poate.... iata dovada....

E clar, dupa ce au aparut atatea bunatati, incepand cu 'taticii' care ruleaza super dupa ani si ani si terminand cu trupele noi, va fi o mare incercare la sfarsitul anului pentru un top 10, 20, whatever.....
Btw, ma uit la ce a insirat nea' Necro si ma intreb daca e un top teribilist sau chiar astea pot fi numite albumele reprezentative ale anului 2006 (probabil grind, dar in fine de coprogustibus)....

hai sa mai adaug si eu albume faine pe anul asta...

Trooper - Electric (este exact ceea ce asteptam de la ei. in mod sigur cel mai bun album al lor)
Negura Bunget - OM (ca si in cazul Trooper si aici am vazut o trupa care cauta sa aduca ceva nou)
Europe - Secret Society (fiecare piesa este hit)
Devin Townsend Band - Synchestra (cel mai bun album, omul asta este un geniu)
Hatebreed - Supremacy (rai, rai, rai mrrrrrrr  ;D )
Marty Friedman - Loudspeaker
Amorphis - Eclipse

Pentru ca mai e o luna calendaristica pana la sfarsitul anului si pentru ca, mari modificari nu se mai pot produce, vin si eu cu doua mari rugaminti:

nu-s nebun dupa albume noi, nu ma intereseaza neaparat sa le ascult cand sunt calde. de-asta n-am ascultat prea multe aparute anul asta. in plus, in general, imi plac putine lucruri, dar alea imi plac mult.

Doua albume m-au impresionat destul in 2006 cat sa le mentionez aici:

Amon Amarth - With Oden on our Side (sunt cam surprinsa ca nu a fost mentionat aici, sau sunt eu chioara ;D )

hmmm... pai sa vedem.

1. Tenhi - Maaäet (superb, a surclasat si Tool si Amorphis si tot tot)
2. Negura Bunget - Om (deci nu, la asta nu am cuvinte)
3. Tool - 10,000 Days (mult asteptat, am cam carcotit la inceput, dar...)

4. Amorphis - Eclipse (frumusel, cu simt de raspundere, mai viu ca ultimul)
5. Agalloch - Ashes Against the Grain (insuficient ascultat, dar grozav ca feeling)
6. Manticora - The Black Circus Pt. 1: Letters (deci wow... si el insuficient ascultat, dar bun de tot. si intunecat.)
7. Red Sparowes - Every Red Heart Shines Toward the Red Sun (delirant, halucinant, fascinant)
8. My Dying Bride - A Line of Deathless Kings (fain, uite ca isi mai pastreaza inca feelingul ala aparte de mireasa muribunda)

Mentiune pentru Borknagar - Origin... foarte ciudat, ba mi se pare foarte tare, ba ma streseaza. Oceans Rise suna totusi mai bine in original.

Si trist, dar... cam atat. Mi-e greu sa-i bag si pe altii ca Lacuna Coil, Ajattara, Theatre of Tragedy sau chiar Maiden, pentru ca pur si simplu... nu pot, ceva nu merge. In acelasi timp sunt multe albume, chiar de la trupe mari, pe care nu le-am ascultat inca, si nici nu ma grabesc sa o fac. Asadar daca am lipsuri mari de tot pe-aici, e destul de scuzabil.
