A fost lansat primul videoclip Nightpray. Videoclipul este prezentat sub forma unui colaj audio/video.

Acesta contine parti din 3 piese care figureaza pe albumul de debut "Five Hours Before And Sometimes After" iar imaginile sunt filmari de arhiva, luate la o expozitie de arta scenografica semnata Daniel Raduta, inspirata de evenimentele politice din 1989.

Printre multe alte filme si proiecte, artistul s-a ocupat de scenografia unor filme precum "Morometii" , "A fost sau nu a fost" sau "Cum mi-am petrecut Sfarsitul lumii".

Daniel Raduta este nimeni altul decat tatal a doi dintre componentii Cap De Craniu/H8 , respectiv Calin - chitara si Razvan - tobe.

Asiluum.com se relanseaza cu 3 albume noi !!!

Asiluum, casa de discuri virtuala infiintata pe 13 ianuarie 2008, la initiativa lui Marius Costache si Costin Chioreanu, se relanseaza in 2009 cu site si content nou-nout.

Pe langa materialele deja existente, respectiv albumele NIGHTPRAY (RO/NOR)– Five Hours Before And Sometimes After si EMPHASIS (Croatia) - Elements of Morrow, puteti gasi o compilatie in doua volume, realizata de noul colaborator al label-ului, respectiv Skeksis86.

Primul volum este dedicat folk-ului melancholic si metalului atmosferic si contine piese de la trupe precum Oathless, SIG AR TYR, Island, Oskoreien, Art Of Empathy, Trauerspiel, Mondstille, Nachtreich, Whispers From A Dead World, Black Autumn.

Cel de-al doilea volum este dedicat trupelor de experimental/black metal/ambient si contine piese semnate  Smohalla, Waldgerumque, Forgotten Ruins, Grivf, Ancient Tundra, Sigitari, Symbiosis, Bones Of The Elephant, Nightpray, Karna.

Un al treilea nou release ce poate fi gasit pe noul site Asiluum este albumul P P Intervals, semnat de francezul Mottron P.

Alte noutati prezente pe noul site Asiluum sunt sectiunile de “Eye Treatment“ (dedicate fisierelor video cu diversele trupe prezente pe site) precum si “Case Studies”, o sectiune dedicate exclusiv artei, unde poate fi vizionata o prima mini-expozitie semnata Valeriu Catalineanu.

Asiluum lanseaza Best Of Subway Night Orchestra.
Asiluum independent label lanseaza pe data de 13 August 2009 in format de free download un best of al trupei de experimental rock Subway Night Orchestra, proiectul lui Costin Chioreanu (chitara, samplere), care a activat intre anii 2001 si 2006. Materialul contine piese dupa toate cele 5 materiale de studio editate in decursul acestor ani.

Liderul trupei Satanochio lanseaza un proiect solo

Mr.S, nimeni altul decat liderul grupului Satanochio va lansa in curand primul material discografic din cariera solo. Proiectul sau se numeste “Extinction Algorithm” iar albumul de debut cu acelasi nume va fi lansat pe data de 15 Septembrie 2009 de catre Asiluum Non-Profit Records. Albumul va fi de gasit atat sub forma digitala cat si sub forma de cd. Varianta de cd va fi una extrem de limitata.

Muzica abordata este departe de cea a trupei Satanochio, fiind incadrata mai mult in zona de experimental/atmospheric.
Albumul va fi instrumental in totalitate si va constitui un protest muzical la adresa procesului de dezumanizare, parcurs de societatea zilelor noastre.

On 1 October 2009 Asiluum will release "Departures", the debut album from romanian electronic artist Contorsionist.

He previously made music under the moniker Blindpixel and some of you may already know his music from shows all across Romania and even Bulgaria; however "Departures" was composed especially for Asiluum and features four songs never heard live before. The artwork is hand drawn by Oana Dragan.

You can also catch Contorsionist live at Cybermental Fest 2009 (2 oct, Silver Church) alongside Soman and Kiew!

The Asiluum collective is very proud to present you the official release of a soundtrack  that will accompany the upcoming exhibition of  John U. Abrahamson, entitled “Flesh And Blood“.

This exhibition will take place in Bert Green Fine Art, Los Angeles, between March 10th and April 18th.

“Flesh and Blood” will showcase 30 paintings and will be an installation work comprised also of 15 years of the artist’s journals (30-220pg each) opened on a table for viewers to destroy.  Attached to the table will be a metal structure that supports a life size prone human form hovering 4 feet above the journals comprised of suspended bottles of  John U. Abrahmason’s flesh and blood approx 200 vials in all.

The creators of the soundrack that will complete the exhibition are the people behind Asiluum, Costin Chioreanu – Guitars (Nightpray) and Marius Costache – Ambients, Field Recordings, Production (Discordless).

This soundtrack will also be available free for download starting March 10th 2010 alongside a virtual exhibition on Asiluum.com aswell.

“I have been working with an unbelievably creative group from Bucharest, Romania in conjunction with “Flesh and Blood.”  They have put together a soundtrack that creates in sound what I am trying to do with paint.  I will be featuring their work on the night of the opening.  They have been sending samples over the last 6 months or so but the latest sample is breath taking in it’s portrayal of my work.  Color me spent from listening!  I can’t wait to share!”
