M-am gandit sa insirui aici albumele ce sunt asteptate in perioada urmatoare, precum si stiri despre albume ce vor aparea; sursa nu acopera totul, insa sunt binevenite si alte informatii din alte surse. Pentru ca eu am inceput, mi-am permis sa bold-esc ceea ce ma intereseaza pe mine, in primul rand. La fel, discutiile sunt binevenite. Inca ceva, informatiile de jos nu sunt cele mai fidele, personal le folosesc mai mult ca orientare

ANGRA spent the first part of 2006 resuming the touring for its last album, "Temple of Shadows". The tour began back in mid-2004 and the intense work paid off: ANGRA won several prizes in the annual readers' polls of Brazilian magazines. Rock Brigade, Comando Rock and Roadie Crew are the most important mags in the country and ANGRA won in several 2005 categories, both as a band ("Best Show" and "Best of all Time" in Comando Rock and "Best Show" in Rock Brigade) and as individual musicians (Kiko Loureiro was "Best Guitarist" and Aquiles Priester was "Best Drummer" in the opinion of Rock Brigade and Roadie Crew readers; Felipe Andreoli was "Best Bassist" in Roadie Crew).
The songwriting process for "Aurora Consurgens" started towards the end of the "Temple of Shadows" touring cycle. The band spent the early part of 2006 pre-producing the album with producer Dennis Ward at House Of Audio Studios in Germany. Drums recordings followed, also in Germany. Then, the band headed back to Brazil where all the remaining stuff was recorded. Mixing was also done in Germany.>>

BIOMECHANICAL Announces New Album Title - Sep. 1, 2006
U.K. progressive epic thrash metallers BIOMECHANICAL have set "Cannibalised" as the title of their upcoming album, tentatively due April 2007 via Earache Records. The follow-up to 2005's "The Empires of the Worlds" will be recorded at vocalist John K.'s studio beginning in November. The mixing sessions will take place in January.
Commented John K.: "We've started writing non-stop for the new album and so far the songs sound ripping!! We're very exited about the new stuff. It will be as heavy as, if not heavier than, 'The Empires of the Worlds', but with more melodic writing within the tracks, something that has been a BIOMECHANICAL trademark. The orchestral writing will be intense and the solos will be ripping as ever, so we can't wait to record this mutha!!"
"The Empires of the Worlds" was released in June 2005 via Elitist/Earache Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Eight Moons" (Revolver Records) was recorded by Jon K. and mixed by Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, NEVERMORE, ARCH ENEMY, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE) at Sneap's own Backstage Studios in Derbyshire, U.K.

Si pentru nenea John Otto, cu dedicatie speciala, noul album cover Deftones:

DEFTONES fan site DeftonesWord.com has uploaded the cover artwork for the band's upcoming album, "Saturday Night Wrist", which is scheduled to come out on Halloween, October 31. The disc will follow up the group's self-titled 2003 effort. Check out the cover at this location.
The group began working on the album with producer Dan "The Automator" Nakamura, before switching to Bob Ezrin and finally finishing with Terry Date, who's been the DEFTONES' regular producer since their debut.
DEFTONES guitarist Stephen Carpenter told Billboard.com that the group wasn't sweating the long wait for the new CD.
"There was no specific timetable at all," Carpenter told Billboard.com. "We know how we work. We figure we do it at our own pace — sometimes fast, sometimes slow. It's definitely been slow as of late, but our agenda is no agenda, if that makes any sense. [We're] just having a good time."
But Carpenter acknowledged that making "Saturday Night Wrist" was arduous and involved "working with different people in different places and dealing with forces of the unknown."
Vocalist Chino Moreno recorded an album and toured with his other band, TEAM SLEEP, while the DEFTONES were making the new CD.
The DEFTONES are currently on the Family Values tour with KORN, STONE SOUR, 10 YEARS and others. The trek hits Holmdel, New Jersey tonight (Friday, September 1).

KAMELOT's first-ever DVD, entitled "One Cold Winter's Night" will be released via Steamhammer/SPV on October 30.



"One Cold Winter's Night" was recorded on February 11, 2006 at the historic Rockefeller Musichall in Oslo, Norway. KAMELOT enlisted renowned film and video director Patric Ullaeus (DIMMU BORGIR, LACUNA COIL, IN FLAMES) to chronicle the night's events. Bringing with him from Gothenberg, Sweden, Patric had a large crew of professionals and equipment, including 18 cameras, that would be used in and around the concert grounds.

The title for the band's first DVD to date (based on an earlier KAMELOT song title) was chosen long before the actual shoot. Ironically this winter turned out to be one of the longest and coldest in the country's history, with enormous amounts of snow and numerous chaos-causing blizzards.

"One Cold Winter's Night" will be available as a double DVD, double CD or a 2DVD/2CD doublepack with poster. The track listing is as follows:

Eh, la mine sunt mai multe, dar in prima linie (din ceea ce e prezent in lista asta): Biomechanical - Cannibalised si Judas Priest - Nostradamus, precum si King Diamond, Wintersun - Time sau Reverend Bizarre. Mai sunt apoi niste chestii de care sunt curios daca ma vor incanta sau dezamagi, nu le insirui, voi vorbi la momentele respective despre ele...

Am vazut un live Judas Priest recent si am fost foarte dezamagit de vocea lui Rob Halford. Din pacate mosu' nu mai poate, este batran... nu mai poate sa atinga notele alea sus cum trebuie, erau momente cand dadea cu vocea de zicea-i ca'i black... In consecinta, eu am mari dubii cu viitorul produs Judas Priest daca Rob Halford ramane in continuare vocal al trupei. Sa-l aduca naiba inapoi pe Tim 'Ripper' Owens ca tare faina voce are omul.

Let Chaos Prevail finally ready for release

After careful consideration we have decided to release our third album "Let Chaos Prevail" self-financed in Scandinavia. From the beginning we have strongly believed in the material, so we recorded the album already last summer at Fantom Studios, and now finally after almost a year of pondering our options, it will finally be released. As the criteria for the release this time was proper promotion in Finland and Scandinavia combined with wide spread distribution over the world, we came to the conclusion of releasing the album self financed in Finland and getting a foreign partner to handle the distribution over the world. The right label for co-operation was found in Xtreem Music. With Xtreem Music handling the distribution through out the world and we ourselves taking care of the Scandinavian market, the album will surely reach everyone who is interested in hearing it.

The initial release date has been decided to be the 30th of May in Scandinavia and during June for the rest of the world. The first taste of the album can be heard on our myspace-site with the song "Not Dead Enough".
