You know what to expect from OPETH: unrivalled composition; seamless progressive dynamics and boundless atmosphere from the mellow to the incredibly heavy, all sealed with the unmistakable vocal presence of mainman Mikael Åkerfeldt."

Commented Åkerfeldt: "The Roundhouse concert will always be a very memorable gig for us for many reasons, but most importantly it caught the band at the peak of the 'Ghost Reveries' tour. HERMANO, the California-based band featuring vocalist John Garcia (UNIDA, KYUSS), and guitarist Dave Angstrom (SUPAFUZZ), will release its new album, "…Into The Exam Room", in Europe on October 19 via Suburban/Soulfood.
Standing as the group's most emotional release to date, this album comes straight from the heart, reflecting the growth and maturity of HERMANO since their formation in 1998.
With this release, HERMANO has delivered "the mostripened collection of material since their inception," according to a press release. "No longer fitting into the simple and over-used moniker of 'stoner rock,' with this release they've cleared away the 'stoner' and left the 'rock' to stand alone. Refreshing, and inspirational, '…Into the Exam Room' isn't just a throwback to the authentic tones of the '60s and '70s. It's the here and now. It's all of the nuances that you've been wanting out of rock music that were seemingly lost in the sea of bands that sounded alike, looked identical, and were promoted in the same suit. HERMANO have made their own clothes."
Recorded in various romantic locations all over the United States (in the high desert of California, by the Great Lakes of Ohio, in the deep south of Georgia, and in the rolling meadows of Kentucky), the material for this album traveled over 30,000 miles before ending up in the mixing studio with the master of sonic passion, Mr. Russ-T Cobb, and at its final destination under the consummate mastering techniques of Glenn Schick, both in Atlanta, Georgia.

Long-running Italian technical death metallers GORY BLISTER have set "Graveyard of Angels" as the title of their new album, tentatively due in early 2008. The follow-up to 2006's "Skymorphosys" will be recorded in November and will feature a guest appearance on bass by Roby Gelly from ALLHELLUJA.

GORY BLISTER recorded its appearance at the Evolution Festival on July 7, 2007 in Firenze, Italy to use as possible live bonus tracks to accompany their next release.

GORY BLISTER recently parted ways with vocalist Adry Bellant, who sang on the group's last album, 2006's "Skymorphosys". A replacement frontman has been found in the shape of Clode, formerly of SALMORAR and HATEFILES.

Mourning Beloveth - A Disease for the Ages

We have just finished recording album number four, and first with bass player Brendan Roche. Recording sessions were held over two weeks in the now familiar surrounds of Studio E with Markus Stock at the helm.

The album contains five songs and has a running time of 56 minutes. The track list for A Disease for the Ages is

1. The Sickness
2. Trace Decay
3. Primeval Rush
4. The Burning Man
5. Poison Beyond All

Sound wise the album is similar to A Murderous Circus but two extra guitar tracks this time has beefed the rhythm creating a huge wall of sound. Musically the songs are very direct and we have cut off the flab that appeared on AMC. Combining the organic feel of Dust with the density of The Sullen Sulcus and some of the experimentation of AMC along with an aggressive undertone only hinted at previously we feel we have come up with the sound track for our deconstruction.

The album is due for a February release. Artwork will be completed by Lukasz (A Murderous Circus)in the coming weeks

To follow the album in March we will have a ten day tour of Europe taking in three dates in Finland, Czech republic, Holland, Germany,Belgium and France so check your local press for details. All of our live performances are now being booked through Lugga promotions www.luggamusic.com run by our friend and ex bass player Adrian.

As is the norm now during recording to break the monotony we played at the Way of Darkness festival in Bamberg. The time slot of 3pm wasn't great as it was still daylight but we played a good 35 minute set considering the drunken excursions the previous night. It was also good to see some unsigned Irish bands, namely Mass Extinction and Ground of Ruin, play at WOD and heres to seeing more Irish bands brave the European circuit before too long.

Long-running Italian technical death metallers GORY BLISTER have finished recording their new album, "Graveyard of Angels", and will mix the effort this month for an early 2008 reelase via Mascot Records. The follow-up to 2006's "Skymorphosys" will feature a guest appearance on bass by Roby Gelly from ALLHELLUJA.
