Pe 31 octobrie 2011, trupa a anuntat ca Ville Vanni a parasit formatia. In locul lui a venit Markus Vanhala.

Acestia au lansat un nou album "One for Sorrow" in 2011.

Insomnium e una din ultimile mela discoperiri si sunt placut impresionat. Muzicienii sunt competenti si exista mereu o balanta intre agresivitate si melodie.
