Seara a fost deschisa de un concert surpriza Slayer, urmat de prestatii din partea A Day To Remember, The Pretty Reckless, Suicide Silence, Joan Jett si Guns N Roses.
Asa cum a fost anuntat inainte de ceremonie, Joan Jett a primit trofeul Golden God, in timp ce Axl Rose a plecat acasa cu Trofeul Ronnie James Dio Lifetime Achievment.
