Biografie Looking for Nothing
Looking for nothing started in 2012 at the idea of the lead guitarist - Catalin Mihalcea.
After rehearsing with different singers for a whole entire year, the final line up of the band was
finalized in the autumn of 2013 with Andrei Paltineanu as rhythm guitarist, Ioan Uivaros as drummer
and Liviu Vieru as vocal.
The members rehearsed for a while and got one gig in a pub in the Old Town of Bucharest.
During this time some songs were created and the band seemed to launch pretty soon but unexpectedly
they split a few months later into several different projects.
The group reunited after one year with fresh minds and ideas and now in 2016 are ready to launch on
the international music market.
On February 13th, 2016, Liviu Vieru is kicked out of the band for stealing the lyrics to the song
"Fly Out" from a band called the Aftertaste. This was done behind the other members'' backs and
resulted in the song "Fly Out" being rendered unusable.
The band found a new lead singer, Vlad Pintilie. They re-recorded the vocals to the track and
continued their journey feeling better than ever.
