Longday (ver4) Chords - Matchbox 20

The version I first posted (and is posted at
other places on UG) sounds good, it really
does, but this is how M20 play it. I'll leave
the original version I posted here, just in case.
The words in (brackets) are still applicable.

            C G F
It's been a long day, always say ain't that right

Now comes the solo. Play the chorus under it, I'm pretty sure, but maybe just play
see what you can come up with for yourself.

Pre-chorus:

(Gentle, single strums----------------------------)
     Am F C G
Its me, yeah well I cant get myself to go away

(-------------------)(Harder, louder, multiple strums again)
G Am F C
He-ey, its me, and I cant get myself to go away

Oh God, I shouldnt feel this way now

Chorus:

(Two strums, down down)
Am
Reach down your hand into your pocket

(Three, down down up)
F
Pull out some hope for me

(Heavier, louder, strums, multiple again)
            C G
Its been a long day, always say aint that right

(Two strums, down down)
Am
But no Lord, your hand wont stop it

(Three, down down up
F
Just keep you trembling

(Heavier, louder, strums, multiple again)
            C G F
Its been a long day, always say aint that right

Then I play the chorus again normally, but Rob sings the word Right over and over
and stuff or something or other, and I havent figured that bit out yet but, I just play the
again normally, then play the last F chord, and hold, fade out.

This should all be right, but I'm not too sure if I've put the chord letters eg G C Am F
the right words because I first did this on Microsoft Word, then copied and pasted, and
re-arranged most of the letters. I think it's all right though, but maybe not 100% the way I play it.

Anyway, this is how I play it, barring any little mistakes I may have made with the
. . . Enjoy!
