Totul a inceput ca o colaborare intre Megadeth si Chris Adler, tobosarul Lamb of God. Mustaine cauta un artist care sa il ajute la inregistrarea tobelor pentru noul album Megadeht, iar Adler a fost de acord sa fie el acela.
Apoi, Adler a anuntat ca va sta in spatele tobelor pentru un concert pe care Megadeth urma sa il sustina in Canada.
Acum Mustaine i-a cerut lui Adler sa devina membru permanent Megadeth. Pentru Adler insa, formatia Lamb of God este prioritara, dorind in acelasi timp sa ia parte la proiectele Megadeth ori de cate ori poate.
Mai jos aveti un extras din declaratia tobosarului pe care acesta a oferit-o celor de la Metalsucks:
"I’d really love to play drums in Megadeth. I can’t do that instead of Lamb, so the two have to be, kind of, massaged, and I don’t know if that’s possible. And if it’s not, obviously, I’m gonna stay with Lamb Of God, because that’s my baby. But I would absolutely love to do it. So, yeah, on my bucket list?! Record an album with Megadeth. Also on that list: play some shows with Megadeth. So, if I can hold on to this, if I can keep it going for a little while, I definitely wanna do it. And Dave has asked me repeatedly: ‘Please become a member of the band.’ I would love to take him up on that offer, but I’ve got my own project. And that’s what I told him."
