Dave Lombardo vorbeste despre agresivitatea din muzica DEAD CROSS

Intr-un interviu recent pentru Madcap Music Review, Dave Lombardo (ex-Slayer) a declarat ca muzica pe care o compune acum alaturi de DEAD CROSS isi are furia alimentata de evenimentele teroriste din Paris (Bataclan).
"Ever since the tragedy in Paris [that took place last November]; that's why I'm f*****g pissed. Because everything hit really close to home. I could have been on that stage [at the Bataclan venue in Paris where EAGLES OF DEATH METAL performed]. I could have been at a festival and some f*****g son of a b***h comes in with a shotgun or whatever and starts [blowing] people's heads off. So I'm just… I'm angry. I'm over it, but, you know, with the new releasing some aggressive music, [we're able to] get all the feelings out, get all the s**t that we wanna say out in this music. It's not gonna come out playing alternative music, it's not gonna come out playing soft. And my name and my drumming is synonymous with thrash and hardcore music, so I'm really excited about this."
Am ascultat We'll Sleep When They're Dead, singura inregistrare de studio facuta publica in mod oficial, si este minunata din toate punctele de vedere, desi DEAD CROSS este un proiect care s-a nascut din nevoia lui Lombardo de a onora cateva concerte, privim cu nerabdare catre un viitor album care ar putea fi daca nu memorabil, cel putin excelent.
