In Flames au lansat videoclipul pentru piesa "Foregone Pt. 2'

In Flames au lansat videoclipul oficial pentru „Foregone Pt. 2”. Piesa este preluata de pe cel de-al paisprezecelea album de studio al trupei, „Foregone”, care va fi lansat pe 10 februarie 2023 prin Nuclear Blast.
Solistul In Flames, Anders Friden, declara: „In timp ce revedeam melodii din catalogul nostru precum „Moonshield” si „Gyroscope”, am simtit ca nu am mai facut acest stil de ceva vreme. Am vrut sa onoram acele tipuri de cantece care incorporeaza vibratia populara suedeza, dar aduceti-l in epoca actuala a lui IN FLAMES. Din punct de vedere muzical si liric, este o continuare a lui „Foregone”.
Artiwork-urile din „Foregone” au fost realizate de artistul Blake Armstrong.
Cand LP-ul a fost anuntat pentru prima data in urma cu mai putin de doua luni, Friden a declarat: „Going into the 'Foregone' sessions, we wanted to make a record that was heavily guitar-driven, and that had a strong foundation between the bass and drums. We still approached our songwriting the same way, as we always have, as a juxtaposition between melody and aggression. That's the DNA of our music. From the lyrical end of things, there was no shortage of inspiration to draw from, especially the concept of time."
Acesta a adaugat: „Humanity as a whole was forced to slow down and take breather. In that break, many of us spent time evaluating and reprioritizing. Time is a constant, but what do we do with it and how we perceive it varies. Especially now looking at where the world seems to be headed faster than ever before.”
Friden a concluzionat: "It's crazy that after everything we are still here and on our fourteenth album. I feel that we've found a great balance between the past, the present and the future with 'Foregone'. This is a new era of IN FLAMES!”
In septembrie, In Flames a distribuit video-ul pentru „Foregone Pt. 1”. Clipul a fost creat de Oleg Rooz, un designerul grafic ucrainean care a folosit tehnologia revolutionara AI pentru a crea imaginile. In Flames sunt una dintre primele trupe care se bazeaza pe AI pentru realizarea unui videoclip muzical.
