Proiectul italian Lightless Moore a luat nastere in anul 2005 din dorinta de a crea o formatie gothic/doom metal mai complexa decat cele cu care publicul genului era obisnuit deja. Elementele principale ale muzicii Lightless Moor sunt reprezentate de o fuziune intre opozitii precum viata si moarte sau dragoste si ura, proiectate pe un decor muzical atmosferic si feeric. Pana in prezent, formatia are la activ un EP lansat in 2006, 'Renewal', si un album full-lenght lansat in 2013 , 'The Poem - Crying My Grief to a Feeble Dawn'. Noul album al trupei, 'Hymn for the Fallen' va fi lansat anul acesta, mai exact pe 9 Iunie.
Metalhead: What kind of energy you expect from the Romanian public?
We are so excited to play in Metalhead Meeting festival! We are confident that the Romanian public will be amazing and welcome us warmly!
Metalhead: How would you describe your sound to metalheads who never heard your band before?
We offer our version of modern gothic-doom metal, with dark and power influences. Our path led us mature musically and our style has evolved and become more complex, than the one heard in our first album, thanks also to the introduction of clean male vocals and a modern female singing style alongside the male growl and the female opera-style singing.
Metalhead: What are you preparing for your show at Metalhead Meeting (new songs, anything special related to your performance)?
We are working hard to offer our best live performance and for this special occasion we will preview some songs from our upcoming second album, which will be officially released a few days after the festival, exactly on June 9 via WormHoleDeath Records.
Metalhead: What are the main elements that inspire your music?
Each band member has different musical influences that has poured into the composition of the pieces. One of the leitmotifs of our work is the struggle of opposites that characterize our life: birth and death, love and hate are some of them. Our new album is dedicated to the Fallen: nature and animals tortured by humans, women victims of violence, ourselves fighting against a reality that chokes our dreams, anorexia, death and the loss of dear people.
Metalhead: What do you think is your biggest achievement as a band?
We are proud of what we have achieved so far and we will work hard to continue our journey. We know it will be not easy, but we will hold on because we have so much to say and to do. Surely the recording of our second album is a very important achievement but not least the opportunity to perform our show to the public and make people discover us!
Metalhead: Can you name 5 awesome bands that Metalhead readers should know about?
Anathema, Paradise Lost, Within Temptation, Lacuna Coil, Draconian. These are some of the bands that inspire us. We love their sound and the atmosphere they create in their music.
