Interviu Metalhead Meeting Festival 2017: Nox Vorago

Suedezii de la Nox Vorago vor urca pe scena festivalului METALHEAD Meeting sambata, 24 iunie, incepand cu ora 16:15, deschizand astfel prima zi a evenimentului si dand startul unui maraton de metale grele ce ne va tine in fata scenei pana in zori.
Promotori ai curentului Symphonic & Melodic Black Metal din Suedia inca din anul 2006, Nox Vorago produc metal de esenta de esenta tare, extrem de apreciat de catre fanii genului. Nox Vorago au cantat alaturi de Six Feet Under in turneul pe care americanii l-au sustinut in Europa, in 2013.
Metalhead: Hello and thank you for taking a little time to answer a few questions for our readers. Is this the first time you come to Romania?
Nox Vorago: Hello! Yes, this will be our first visit to Romania.
Metalhead: What kind of energy you expect from the Romanian public?
Nox Vorago: So far we've seen great energy and spirit from the eastern european crowds, so we're exited to see the Romanians!
Metalhead: How would you describe your music to somebody who has never heard your band before?
Nox Vorago: Id say it's a mixture of death and black metal with a lot of symphonic elements to it. At the same time I feel it's not that easy to define, so I'd urge them to give it a listen for themselves as well.
Metalhead: What is your favourite song to perform live?
Nox Vorago: We all have our personal preferences when it comes to that. We as a band try to focus more on the live show as a whole and what role a particular song has to fill in order to make the show into what we intended it to be.
Metalhead: What are the main elements that inspire your work?
Nox Vorago: Various aspects of occultism, history, dark philosophy and mystic phenomena that continues to challenge our species perception of reality.
Metalhead: What do you think is your biggest achievement as a band and what was the biggest problem that you had to overcome as a band?
Nox Vorago: I think our biggest achievement right now is the fact that we're spreading our music and live shows to wider audiences and new countries all the time, and therein also lies the biggest challenge to overcome, both in writing the music and also making the live shows the way we want them to be.
Metalhead: How do you feel about the internet in the music business and how important are live concerts for a band nowadays?
Nox Vorago: Mostly positive, considering how much easier it becomes to connect with a wider audience. Id say live concerts are very important!
Metalhead: Share with us your top five underrated bands that people should start listerning right now. :)
Nox Vorago: Thy Catafalque, The Ruins of Beverast, Maat, Hideous Divinity and of course Nox Vorago!
Metalhead: What are you preparing for your show at Metalhead Meeting Festival (new songs, anything special related to your performance)?
Nox Vorago: Well, we released our new album "Al Chem" earlier this year, and we also launched a new visual image for our live shows since then, so we've got quite a lot of new stuff for people to see!
Metalhead: Thank you for answering, any message you want to send those who will come to see you perform at Metalhead Meeting Festival?
Nox Vorago: No problem! We're looking forward to perform at Metalhead Meeting Festival and hope to see as many of Romanias metal fans as possible come and join us the 24th of June!
