1.Hello and thank you for taking a little time to answer a few questions for our readers. Is this the first time you come to Romania?
Hi and thanks to you for having us. No It’s not our first time, we’ve toured eastern Europe last summer and played in Bucharest, Sibiu and Iasi and we had a great time.
2.What kind of energy do you expect from the Romanian public?
Last time we played here we had a great reception from the fans, they were very excited and energetic. We expect nothing less from the METALHEAD MEETING FESTIVAL crowd.
3. How would you describe your music to somebody who has never heard your band before?
Well it is a combination of Thrash metal and Groove metal Riffs, mixed with lots of melodies and breakdowns. We often use some tribal rhythms and use them in our songs, especially in our second album 'T.W.O'.
4. What is your favourite song to perform live?
We have lots of cool stuff to play live but so far we think the second track from our new album 'T.W.O' entitled 'Dance Of The Wounded Souls' will be a killer to play. It is going to be a hell of a show!
5. What are the main elements that inspire your work?
5. Well sometimes it all starts with a riff that comes out and is developed later, sometimes it’s when we jam together, we come up with something that we really like. And also it’s about some political situation we are going through, some cool movie/Series we liked that inspired us also by listening to our favorite bands and listening to new fresh stuff. The inspiration comes from so many aspects.
6. What do you think is your biggest achievement as a band and what was the biggest problem that you had to overcome as a band?
Recently Signing with Alpha Omega Management, Winning the Wacken Metal Battle in Lebanon are pretty huge achievements. But we are looking forward for bigger things for Phenomy. In a country, where metal is not that much appreciated and coming from Lebanon to other countries where Metal has a bigger fan base is really hard. You know, finding people that are committed to the band and are enthusiast about the project was really hard coming from a small metal scene in Lebanon. Also the VISAS and travel expenses from here to other countries is really expensive. But we are finding a way through every time we manage to find a way all the time.
7. How do you feel about the internet in the music business and how important are live concerts for a band nowadays?
Well records are not selling like they used to before, everything is available to download for free nowadays and the music business is becoming bigger and harder. But we really believe that Live concerts have always been the big thing for any band especially in the metal category. It is a music that brings people together getting close to the fans seeing how they relate and react to your music is our greatest satisfaction. It is the best way to spread your music to new people and make new friends and fans.
8. Share with us your top five underrated bands that people should start listerning right now.
We have lots of talented bands coming from the middle east and we would like to mention them because we think they deserve something bigger because they are also hard working bands

9. What are you preparing for your show at Metalhead Meeting Festival (new songs, anything special related to your performance)?
We prepared new songs from our new album and we can’t wait to share it with the crowd. Prepare for some heavy s**t. Oriental melodies, tribal rhythms, get ready for some neck breaking.

10.We just want to thank the organizer and the people working for METALHEAD MEETING FESTIVAL for having us it is a great pleasure to be back here in Romania and to play such a great festival. And the crowd we can’t wait to see you all, be there, we promise we will all have a great time. C YA!
