SABATON se pregatesc sa lucreze la un nou album.
"Without any pressure we'll sit down, have a few beers and collect all our ideas." Trupa suedeza de power metal Sabaton pregatesc un nou album, potrivit liderului formatiei Joakim Broden.
Intr-un interviu acordat pentru Backstage TV din Republica Ceha, Broden a spus ca trupa se afla in prezent in „planning phase” pentru noul album si ca spera sa inceapa sa scrie in viitorul apropiat.
"We're always planning ahead," a spus Broden. "We're always thinking about what we want to do next. And right now, we're in the planning phase for the next album. I'm looking forward to having an easy summer, but then I'm looking forward to starting writing more music for the future. We don't have a release date yet. We don't work that hard on it, but it's gonna be good. Without any pressure, I'll drive over, and me and Chris [Rörland, guitar] will sit down, we'll have a few beers and collect all our ideas and write some music. It's a nice thing to do, actually."
Broden a mai mentionat ca trupa nu este inca sigura de tema noului album insa se afla in continua cautare de idei: "we are) always looking for inspiration."
"We're always looking for new stories to tell," a adaugat acesta. "We're always looking for new things to write about. So, we'll see what happens."
Ultimul album al trupei, The War to End All Wars, a fost lansat in 2022 si a fost un real succes, ajungand pe locul unu in topul suedez al albumelor si pe locul opt in topul Billboard Top Rock Albums. Albumul a fost, de asemenea, un succes si in ochii criticilor, multi dintre acestia laudand melodiileformatiei despre Primul Razboi Mondial.
