SIX FEET UNDER lucreaza la un nou album de studio si au declarat despre acesta faptul ca 'Things Are Coming Together Awesome'. Fanii de pretutindeni asteapta cu nerabdare mai multe vesti despre materialul nou.
Potrivit solistului SIX FEET UNDER Chris Barnes, bateristul Marco Pitruzzella a terminat de inregistrarea pieselor de tobe pentru urmatorul album de studio al trupei. Chitaristul Jack Owen din SIX FEET UNDER "will be tracking rhythm guitar in a couple weeks. Things are coming together awesome! Some real killer songs on this album. It will definitely satisfy all our SFU Fans appetite. #pureDEATHMETAL'"- a declarat Chris.
Chris Barnes a spus anterior ca materialul pentru urmatorul LP semnat SIX FEET UNDER se pregateste sa fie "incredibly f*****g heavy."
Cel de-al 17-lea album al trupei SIX FEET UNDER, „Nightmares Of The Decomposed”, a fost lansat in octombrie 2020 prin Metal Blade Records.
Compus din 12 piese, „Nightmares Of The Decomposed” a fost inregistrat la diverse studiouri, inclusiv Criteria Studios din Miami, Florida, care de-a lungul anilor a gazduit artisti precum AC/DC, BLACK SABBATH si AEROSMITH. A fost produs, proiectat si mixat de Chris Carroll, in timp ce masterizarea albumului a fost gestionata de Chaz Najjar la Badlands Recording din Denver, Colorado. Artwork-ul a fost realizat de Luke Hunter.
Barnes a parasit CANNIBAL CORPSE in 1995, la un an dupa lansarea albumului trupei „The Bleeding”. In urma cu sase ani, el a a declarat pentru radio-ul „The Chainsaw Symphony” despre plecarea sa:"I just didn't like being around them, because I was being ridiculed, and I just didn't feel comfortable being in the same room with people that weren't very nice to me personally. And I was part of that too, so we had all of our own type of differences, personally, and I don't think it was gonna be able to be worked out. You know, mutual respect goes a far way when it comes to being in close quarters with people."
Owen a parasit CANNIBAL CORPSE in 2004, explicand intr-o declaratie ca "(my) heart just wasn't in it anymore, and it was reflected in my appearance on stage. Times change, and I just don't enjoy the music as much as I used to, and the only thing keeping me in the band was steady work, and the pay," a spus acesta. "These things makes it unfair to myself, my band members, and especially the fans."
