Vended lanseaza videoclipul pentru piesa "Overall".

Vended, trupa din care face parte Griffin Taylor, fiul in varsta de 20 de ani al cantaretului Slipknot si Stone Sour, Corey Taylor, a lansat videoclipul oficial pentru cel mai recent single, „Overall”. Vended este o trupa formata in 2018 in Des Moines, Iowa si este compusa din: Griffin Taylor la voce, Simon Crahan (fiul percutionistului Slipknot Shawn "Clown" Crahan) la tobe, Connor Grodzicki la chitara ritmica, Jeremiah Pugh la bass si Cole Espeland la chitara.

Vended au un sound extrem de heavy construit pe viteza, putere si precizie, toate acestea presarate cu un sound unic de chitara, solo-uri si voci guturale, dar melodice, sound care evidentiaza greutatile si realitatile dure ale vietii de zi cu zi.

Griffin Taylor a comentat despre noua lor piesa: „'Overall' is a song about getting trapped in your own head and having your thoughts self-sabotage you. And how sometimes YOU are the only person who can help yourself get out of that headspace. 'I salt the wound myself' has a double meaning; you either feel the pain from bad thoughts, or you lean into it and embrace them."

La sfarsitul anului trecut, VENDED a lansat un duo de single-uri ("Asylum" si "Burn My Misery") inaintea EP-ului de debut care continea cinci piese, "What Is It / Kill It",. Colectia a fost inregistrata cu Griffin Landa din The Acacia Strain. Cele doua single-uri au fost cantate in primul turneu al trupei Vended din SUA, dupa care trupa a deschis festivalul Knotfest din Los Angeles de pe stadionul Banc Of California, cantand alaturi de Slipknot, Bringe me the horizon, Killswitch Engage, Fever 333, Code Orange si Cherry Bombs.

Luna trecuta, Griffin a vorbit cu Heavy New York despre abordarea sa live cu VENDED. El a spus: „Our goal is not to be up on stage and be, like, 'Look at us. We're so cool. We're so this.' Our goal is to entertain you; our goal is to make you feel better. Because everyone feels like s**t nowadays. And it's just kind of nice to have someone just kind of hurt themselves on stage just screaming and then wake up the next morning with back problems and then have you go home and be, like, 'You know what? That was a really nice experience. I can kind of see where these guys are coming from.' And if you didn't enjoy our shows, that is completely fine. There have been shows that I have gone to where I was just, like, 'Oh, not my cup of tea.' And that's completely your choice to not like our music, because, honestly, it just makes us try harder and it makes us take steps to, not change ourselves so much that it's almost unrecognizable but change ourselves to the point where it's just, like, maybe we can do it again and maybe we can try again.”
